- Since Randy Orton is facing Antonio Cesaro on SmackDown, the only Elimination Chamber opponent he has left to face is Sheamus. That match will be our main event on next Monday’s RAW.

- Rob Van Dam was backstage at RAW yesterday but word is that he left earlier in the evening. Rumors backstage was that RVD was there to meet with Triple H.

Also as we noted, Steve Austin was backstage as well.

2014 WWE Hall of Famer Lita issued the following statement to her official website about her impending WWE Hall Of Fame induction in New Orleans, LA:

“YO! Congrats to all of us! I heard you on social media, repping “LITA HOF 2014″ signs at shows, and hashtagging your little hearts out. Your voices were heard! What better place than Wrestlemania 30!

I was so proud watching my bestie enter the 2013 class in the Hall of Fame. I know how hard she had worked, I watched her develop as a wrestler, talent, and woman over the years. I know fans were excited to see our generation of women represented in the HOF. Often in the same breath, I heard support from fans expressing their desire for me to join the ranks of my piers as well. I had hoped at some point I would, but didn’t realize it would be just around the corner.

I tend to have an expect the worse philosophy so I won’t be let down, which seems like a pessimistic outlook when I tend to be such a positive person. Maybe not pessimistic, maybe more self preservation. So much goes into selecting each class and watching each person touches me in a slightly different way, although it is always a similar sense of joy for each person to be able to have that moment where they are able to reflect on their journey and the fans have an opportunity to show their support.

When I played with my band, The Luchagors, my guitar player, Shane, had this exact opposite approach. Every day was going to be “the best day ever” “the best show ever” “the best meal ever” Every event was about to be the best ever. The thought of that ideology, while endearing, was SO annoying to me! It just clashed with my self preservation. This show at this BBQ joint 35 minutes south of Louisville, KY is NOT going to be the best ever, and that’s okay. But, just stop saying it is! Let’s just revel in the awkward, “fun”comfortable moment that we are all sharing. Not everyone can say they have played a show in a BBQ restaurant with the 97 year old owner hooked up to a respirator shoved in the corner in a wheelchair. Should I say hello? Maybe better to act like I don’t notice she’s there? I know, dedicate a song to her. I can’t make this shit up, people.

I appreciate that not every day is the best day ever. At this point in my life, I can reflect on everything I’ve ever been through and know that I have learned, grown, and evolved from it. I can appreciate the good and the bad and derive an equal appreciation from each event. For every weird Texas Chainsaw BBQ show, there was a run in at a TLC match at the Astrodome. For every full body cry I’ve had, I have had uncontrollable laughter.

So, here I am Class of 2014 Hall of Fame, the dumpster diving punk rock kid that was never supposed to make it, but with too much kid power to let anything get in my way, gearing up to give a speech and accept my position in front of the ultimate under dog of a city. It seems kind of like the best thing ever- xxx, Amy”

There was some chatter and rumblings on Twitter last night that Shelton Benjamin and Tyson Kidd worked a dark match before WWE RAW last night in Los Angeles. This was not the case. There was so much commotion on social media that Kidd and Shelton both took time to joke about the rumor.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion, King Of The Ring, and UFC Hall Of Famer Ken Shamrock turns 51 years old today.

Interscope Records Founder & CEO Jimmy Iovine was also in attendance at last night's RAW in Los Angeles.

- After RAW went off the air, the dark match was John Cena & Daniel Bryan & Batista taking on The Wyatt Family, and defeating them via DQ when the Wyatts attacked Bryan as he was applying on The Yes Lock.

-The main event for this week's Smackdown, taped on Tuesday night from Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, will be Ryback, Curtis Axel and The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos, Cody Rhodes & Goldust. Also on the card is Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro. 

Primo's Wrestling in Canada sat down for a conversation with WWE Legend Bret Hart. Bret talks about concussions in wrestling, his latest injury, injuries in UFC, and more. Bret said if Vince McMahon made him the boss of WWE, he would make the titles and the actual wrestling mean more. Bret says you would never have guys who are 15-time champions like Triple H.

- PWInsider reports that WWE will begin using a new company logo once the Network launches later this month. It is the same logo we’ve seen on Network material. 

- The Bella Twins and others are hosting an anti-bullying rally at James Madison Middle School in North Hollywood, California today. Tonight's Raw goes down from the Staple center. 

- John Cena tweeted the following this afternoon:

“Ok self, body is beat to hell, everything feels like slow motion, big night tonight. Focus up, begin to move, find a way #nevergiveup”

F4Wonline.com has recently confirmed that backstage officials within WWE are discussing the idea of inserting Daniel Bryan into the WWE World Heavyweight Title match with Batista and Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXX, making it a triple threat match. The rumored Bryan vs. Triple H match is still being considered for the show. As noted, WWE officials are holding off on making any final decisions at the moment, at least until Elimination Chamber PPV has come and gone.

After TMZ posted the story of Matt Hardy and his wife Reby Sky being arrested a few weeks ago. Matt is upset with them and posted this on Facebook: 

I have a question. Why doesn't @TMZ run this story? Ex-WWE Wrestler Matt Hardy meets C.H.A.R.G.E. survivor Cody Goodman in Kentucky, and makes Cody's dreams come true? Here's a chance for TMZ to prove that they're not all about "doom & gloom", but yet about celebrities giving back. The biggest problem that I have with the media right now is the fact that only the negative stuff sees the light of day.. Why would any media outlet not report the great, positive stuff like this story? If you feel the same, go to TMZ and let them know.

Daniel Bryan will be in the studio for NFL Total Access on the NFL Network at 8e/7c on Monday talking about the Seattle Seahawks.

Bryan was part of the Seahawks celebratory Super Bowl Parade this past week. The Seahawks also tweeted Daniel Bryan after their victory, using his trademark "Yes!"

Frank Bullock, a long-time member of the WWE ringside TV production crew, passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.

Our deepest sympathies to his wife, family and friends.

- Plans called for Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards to win the TNA Tag Team Titles but there were arguments made that it may be too soon for them to win gold.

- The upcoming TNA pay-per-view taping in Japan with Wrestle-1, where the titles will be defended, the only two tag teams advertised are Edwards & Richards and Kazarian & Daniels.

- Jeff Hardy has been announced to appear at next Saturday’s OMEGA Wrestling event on February 22nd in Smithfield, N.C.

This event is being titled a "special appearance" from Jeff Hardy. Also the event is benefiting the Autism Society of North Carolina.

Matt Hardy, “Hurricane” Helms, TNA wrestler Gunner, Christian York, C.W. Anderson, Reby Sky, and local stars. Plus, an appearance by the stars of TruTV’s “Lizard Lick Towing" are also set to appear. 

Mark Crozer, who is the singer/songwriter of The Wyatt Family’s entrance music "Broken Out In Love", announced on his Facebook page that he will be performing the song at this year’s WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans on April 6. The post was then promptly deleted from Facebook.

Crozer wrote, “Well as I’m no longer able to contain my excitement I may as well let you know… I’m playing Wrestlemania! I’ll let you know more details when I get them.”

- WWE has begun an in-house testing for the Network this past week. Those who have got to test things out report that it’s “awesome” and similar to Netflix in terms of finding content and moving around. It debuts on February 24th which is a Monday. 

- So here is the latest on CM Punk, is not being treated as a situation where they’re just letting going to let him go. Every top WWE official wants Punk gone, except Vince McMahon. He wants Punk to stay around because he recognizes Punk’s drawing power.

- Sting still had not signed a contract with WWE, is said to be super close on signing with WWE. WWE is working on the merchandising part of the deal. The idea, which can change, is that they will not use Sting at WrestleMania XXX but likely will at WrestleMania 31 in California next year.

- WWE’s merchandise department were told a while back not to produce any new for the Rock. They were also told that Rock would not be back to WWE until 2015 at the earliest. Rock reportedly told WWE officials in August that he would not be doing WrestleMania XXX but has not ruled out WrestleMania 31.

Multiple Sources confirmed that Paul Bearer is in the plans for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony from New Orleans. There is said to be a third star of the caliber of Jake Roberts and The Ultimate Warrior that will be going in also.

Another name being discussed for this year is Lita.

As of this writing, WWE still plans on inducting the WrestleMania I main event itself and the participants but the company is really pushing for Mr. T to accept an induction. It should be noted he’s turned them down several times in the past, so it may not be a complete lock.

- WrestleMania XXX Kickoff pre-show is expected to run one hour in length. This will make WrestleMania five hours long. 

- WWE developmental trainers are teaching current talent the new match style. It goes like this, babyfaces are supposed to get one comeback spot, built around their trademark spots and finishes should be a specific move that they always use to win.

- WWE is currently trying to sell its broadcast partners on the idea that the Network will raise WWE’s popularity so that whether it’s the USA Network or Sky, ratings will be increasing this year.

- As of last weekend, MVP still had not signed a contract with TNA. He did reach a verbal deal and has a deal agreement in place, but had not signed an actual contract. It’s possible he’s signed by now but word is that he appeared on TV without a contract. 

If you do not watch Impact! He is their main character for their biggest story-line right now. Yet he does not have a contract. 

- The Impact Wrestling tapings from the UK were being changed around as they were filmed.

-Samoa Joe gave an emotional speech on the bus traveling back to the hotel about how this was his toughest tour but the tour had no prima donnas, no complainers and no whiners, and how proud he was of everyone. The wrestlers were chanting Joe’s name when it was over.

The current TNA UK tour was said to be the most grueling tour for them ever, but the best in terms of locker room morale. Everyone was happy to be working in front of larger crowds and more receptive crowds. 

- The January 29th live event in Dublin, Ireland drew 1,000 fans. The January 31st TV tapings in Manchester, England drew 2,700 fans. The February 1st TV tapings in London at Wembley Arena drew around 4,000 fans.

- AJ Styles talked with SLAM! Wrestling and here are the highlights:

His response on the talk of TNA going out of business: 
“I’m not saying that they’re going under, but it sure does seem that way. They’re really saving a lot of money in places. If they’re so desperate to save money that they cut loose one of their top guys, the one guy that was known as the TNA guy, they must be hurting pretty bad. Either that or they think that loyalty means absolutely nothing to them, or they think I suck. I don’t know which one of those it is.”

Styles on his dream opponent: 
“Seriously, some (dream matches) for me are with guys that I may never get the opportunity to wrestle. I’d like to wrestle Rey Mysterio, I think he and I could really tear things up. There are definitely some guys in the Fed (WWE) that I think I could have good matches with, that would also be dream matches for the fans as well. But who knows if that ever comes or not.”

His thoughts on Sting possibly going to WWE: 
“I hope to see Sting wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania. I don’t know if that’s going to happen, that may just be wishful thinking. But I can appreciate the (thinking).”

<strong>On leaving TNA:</strong> “My contract ran up and I kinda knew that was going to be my last day, and I was hoping it wasn’t. It was a bit sad because I wouldn’t walk around announcing or telling my friends there that this was my final day because, of course, word would spread like wildfire. I couldn’t tell my friends it was going to be my last day or say goodbye. That was the only bitter sweet part. I felt like we were just scratching the surface with that character.. build some real emotion behind it all the way to Bound for Glory, or at least that’s what I was hoping for.”

<strong>On her future</strong>: “I just love wrestling too much to just let it go .. I don’t feel I am done with wrestling.”

<strong>On Jeff Jarrett and Toby Keith starting a new promotion:</strong> “Jeff is so smart, and innovative, and has drive. Toby is a massive wrestling fan. It could be something potentially that’s pretty awesome.”

<strong>On ODB: </strong>“Just one of the coolest people you’ll ever to meet, and I love her to pieces.”

<strong>On Magnus as champion:</strong> “The fans are eating it up and they absolutely hate him.”
