This week’s show starts off with a look back at the turmoil in the Tag Team Division as a result of the stripping of the All Night Xpress of the titles when Kenny King left the company. We see highlights of the match between the Young Bucks and the team of Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander.We then see the post match interview with Coleman and Alexander.

Steve Corino says that we have a quandary in Ring of Honor with all of this drama. Charlie Haas wants Rhett Titus and Rhett Titus wants Charlie Haas so that leaves a team in the tournament. They knew that since they are not Jim Cornette’s boys that they were not going to be included. They made Jim an offer he could not refuse. The deal was signed and now they are going to deliver.
Jim Cornette doesn’t want them in the tournament, but they don’t want Jim in Ring of Honor. Being team number eight was not enough for Jim Cornette. He wanted Steve and Jimmy to put up something. If they lose a match in this tournament, they will leave Ring of Honor.
Steve tells everyone that the most dangerous men are the men who have everything to lose. He tells Cornette to shine up the belts for the new Tag Team Champions.
Match Number One: The Bravado Brothers (Lancelot and Harlem) versus Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs in a First Round Tag Team Tournament Match
Lance Roland Olazabal lookalike Harlem and Jacobs start things off and Jacobs goes after Lancelot on the apron. Harlem teases a punch and Jacobs goes to the floor. Lancelot with a punch and he returns Jacobs to the ring. Harlem with punches and he sends Jacobs into the turnbuckles. Lancelot tags in and Harlem with a drop kick to Jacobs and then he punches Corino. Lancelot with a near fall followed by a suplex.
Harlem tags in and the Bravados do some sort of double team move, but we did not see it because the cameras were focused on Truth Martini who joins Nigel and Kevin at the announce table. The Bravados with a double elbow drop for a near fall. Harlem with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Lancelot tags back in and he snap mares Jacobs and applies a front face lock.
Lance fights his way out of Corino and Jacobs’ corner, getting in a few shots. Jacobs with an Irish whip but he misses a charge. Corino with a clothesline from the apron and the referee warns Corino. Steve tags in and he rakes the eyes. Lancelot with an elbow and punches but Corino with a punch of his own. He sends Lancelot’s head into Jacobs’ boot and Jacobs tags in and hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles.
Jacobs climbs the turnbuckles and he punches Lancelot. Jacobs chokes Lancelot in the corner and he applies a side head lock. Corino tags in and they connect with punches and Corino gets a near fall. Lancelot with punches but Jacobs grabs him to stop him. Harlem tries to get involved but the referee stops him. Corino sends Lancelot to the floor and then he Irish whips him into the guardrails as we go to commercial.
We are back and Corino with a back elbow to Lancelot and Jacobs tags in. Jacobs chokes Lancelot in the corner and then he stands on Lancelot’s chest. Jacobs with an Irish whip and he charges at Lancelot but Lancelot with a drop kick to the knees and Harlem is tagged in. He goes after Corino on the apron before going after Jacobs. Harlem with a bicycle kick to Corino that sends him to the floor. Harlem sends Jacobs to the floor and then he hits a flip dive onto Corino and Jacobs.
Harlem sends Jacobs back into the ring and he goes up top and hits a blockbuster and gets a near fall. Harlem runs into an elbow from Jacobs and Jacobs tries for the Contra Code but Harlem escapes. Harlem with a tornado DDT to Jacobs and he gets a near fall. Harlem puts Jacobs on the top turnbuckle but Jacobs pushes him off. Something happens in the ring while we see Martini at the announce table but Corino has tagged in and he looks to pounce on Harlem.
Corino with an Irish whip and running knee to the chest and then a running knee to the head. Corino. Jacobs comes in and sets for a neck breaker while Corino also hits an STO on Harlem. Corino gets a near fall. Harlem with forearms to Corino but Corino with a knee and hits ColbyShock for a near fall. Corino with a boot but Harlem blocks it and he connects with a back heel kick and neck breaker.
Lancelot tags in and hits a slingshot DDT and then he knocks Jacobs off the apron. Lancelot with a running clothesline into the corner followed by a belly-to-belly suplex and he gets a near fall. Lancelot with a series of forearms to the chest and back followed by a running clothesline for a near fall. Harlem sends Jacobs to the floor. Harlem with an enzuigiri to Corino and Lancelot with a German suplex and bridge for a near fall.
Lancelot tells Harlem to go up top but Jacobs takes care of Harlem. Lancelot tries to get Jacobs off the turnbuckles but Jacobs with an Ace Cutter off the turnbuckles to Lancelot. Harlem comes off the turnbuckles but Jacobs with a spear. Corino with an atomic drop to Lancelot followed by a belly-to-back suplex and bridge but Lancelot kicks out.
Corino with the Sliding C but Lancelot with a rollup to counter and he gets a near fall. Corino hits another belly-to-back suplex and bridge to get the three count.
Winners: Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino
After the match, the Guardians of Truth make their way to the ring and they go after Corino and Jacobs. Kevin Steen comes out to go after the Guardians of Truth. Rhino makes his way to the ring and he GORES Steen and raises his arms.
Officials make their way to the ring as the members of the House of Truth leave the ring.

The first topic this week is the Television Title situation which will see Mike Mondo facing either Adam Cole or Michael Elgin at Death Before Dishonor on September 15th. Cole talks about his match with Michael Elgin next week. Cole says Mike Mondo shocked the world to earn a Television Title match. Adam says that he has a target on his back and next week he faces Michael Elgin. Last time they met was at Border Wars and Elgin was the better man that night.
Cole says that he has learned a lot since that match. The next time they meet, Elgin will have to kill him to win the title. When he faces Mondo at Death Before Dishonor, he will show that he is the best. He looks forward to the challenge in Chicago, but he will leave as the champion.
The next topic is the World Title Match at Death Before Dishonor between Kevin Steen and Rhino.
Rhino says that Truth Martini promised Jim Cornette a solution to the Kevin Steen Problem and he is that solution. He will take Steen out and make him bleed. He says that Steen will wish he was never born and he will curse his mother for ever being born. The people watching Death Before Dishonor and they will be feeling sorry for Steen because he will leave Steen in a pool of his own blood and other bodily fluids while he stands over Steen as the new Ring of Honor Champion.
The next topic is the Tag Team Tournament and we see that we have a semifinal match set for Chicago. Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs will face Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander.
We see the other two quarterfinal matches and we get comments from the Briscoes. Jay talks about facing the ‘Wildcard team’ in Blk Out. Mark says something that makes Jay wonder what Mark is saying. He says that they will take of Blk Out and go to Chicago to become the Tag Team Champions.

We are back with a Jay Lethal video package where he talks about being somewhere else for six years trying to be somebody else. He has come back to Ring of Honor because this is where a professional wrestler can prove that he is the best in the world.
Match Number Two: Matt Taven versus Jay Lethal
Before the match starts, Lethal gets on the mic and he says that there is something on his mind. Jay tells everyone about something that happened backstage. Jay says that he ran into Jim Cornette and he told Jim that he might have looked high and looked low for a challenger for Kevin Steen, but he never looked in his direction. Jay wanted to know why he never got a shot at Kevin Steen.
Jay says that Jim looked at him and Jim told him that he is a better wrestler and athlete than Kevin Steen, but he cannot beat Kevin Steen. Jay says that he was shocked at what Jim said. Jim told him that he was not mean enough and did not have the killer instinct.
Lethal shakes Taven’s hand and then he kicks him in the groin. Lethal then gives the referee a Lethal Combination.
Jay wants to know what Jim thinks about his ‘Killer Instinct’.

We are back with a video package to show us why Charlie Haas and Rhett Titus are a team in this tournament. We get new comments from Rhett and Charlie. Rhett says that people are calling him crazy for teaming with Charlie. Charlie says that he got what he wanted when he got Rhett to agree to be a team. Rhett says that Charlie was right that they should be the only two people who are fighting for the titles. Charlie mentions that they only have to win three matches and he can do that on his own.
Match Number Two: Charlie Haas and Rhett Titus versus The Guardians of Truth (with Truth Martini)
Haas and Titus argue over who is going to start before the match starts and Charlie points out a fan in the crowd to Titus and Haas uses that opportunity to push Titus to the floor to start the match.
Haas and Guardian One start things off. They lock up and Haas with a waist lock and take down into a front face lock and he floats over and then Gator rolls him to the ropes. Haas with kicks and Guardian One goes to the apron. They lock up again and Guardian One backs Haas into the turnbuckles and Haas gets to the ropes. They lock up again and Guardian One with a knee and punches. Guardian Two is tagged in and he punches Haas. Haas punches back but Guardian Two with a kick and forearms.
Haas with a kick but Guardian Two with a kick and Guardian One is tagged back in and they double team Haas. Haas emphatically tags Titus into the match and Titus and Haas argue but the Guardians do not take advantage of things. Guardian One works on the wrist but Titus reverses into a side head lock take down. Guardian One with a head scissors. Titus escapes with a headstand and applies a side head lock. Guardian One works on Titus’ wrist again and Titus rolls through and takes the Guardian down with a head scissors. Guardian One escapes but misses an elbow. Titus with an arm drag into an arm bar. Titus with a kick and back body drop to Guardian One. Haas pushes the Guardian and Guardian One knocks Haas off the apron.
Haas comes into the ring and he is held back by the referee while Titus is attacked from behind by Guardian Two and is given an inverted DDT. Guardian Two with a short arm clothesline to Titus. Titus punches Guardian Two but Guardian Two with a knee and he tags in Guardian One. Guardian One with a double sledge from the turnbuckles and Guardian One gets a near fall.

We are back and Titus with a jawbreaker to Guardian Two but Guardian One holds the ropes open and Titus falls to the floor. They send Titus against the ropes and down to the floor. Guardian One kicks Titus on the floor and then he helps Titus back into the ring. Guardian One uses the ropes for extra leverage on a cover. Guardian Two tags in and he punches Titus and Guardian One gets a shot in too.
Guardian Two with a punch but Titus with punches of his own. Titus gets his eyes raked. Guardian Two kicks Titus and slams Titus. Guardian One tags in and they set up for a double team move with Guardian Two pushing Titus to the mat while Guardian One hits an elbow drop from the turnbuckles. Guardian One gets a near fall. Titus gets back to his feet but Guardian One pulls him back to the mat.
Guardian One goes over the top rope when Haas pulls the ropes down. Guardian One pulls Haas off the apron just as Titus is about to make the tag. Guardian One Irish whips Haas into the guardrails. Guardian Two misses a charge into the corner and Titus punches Guardian Two. Titus with a belly-to-back suplex on Guardian Two and then Titus with a drop kick to Guardian One.
Titus with a knee and running boot to the head followed by a bulldog to Guardian One for a near fall. Guardian Two breaks up the cover and Titus kicks him. Guardian Two with a power slam and Guardian One goes up top. Haas pulls Guardian One off the apron and Titus gets the three count on Guardian Two with a jackknife cover.
