Daniel Bryan’s music hit to open the show. The proverbial man of the hour came out to a big pop. Looks like we will have a match right off the bat. Christian was out next, to piped in cheers.
1. Daniel Bryan vs. Christian: Lockup to start. Bryan into an armbar. Christian whips him into the ropes and gets a shoulder block then a second rope dropkick for two. Bryan drove the shoulder in Christian’s midsection with a charge, nailed a couple of kicks and then hits the running knee off the apron as we go the break... [C]
Christian is in control back from commercial and is favoring his left shoulder, he attempted a cross body from the top rope and missed. Bryan misses the diving head butt from the top rope himself and both men are down. They get up in unison. Christian tries the second rope tornado DDT but Bryan throws him off and starts to lay in the stiff kicks. He misses the big one to the head, Christian hits the reverse DDT and he's still favoring his shoulder. He calls for the spear but Bryan catches him with a kick and finishes off the YES! kick to the head for a two count.
In the corner Bryan lands more kicks. He hit a running dropkick on Christian but a second one gets cut-off by a spear but Bryan kicked out at two. Crowd starts chanting this is awesome. Christian fails to properly hit the Killswitch and Bryan locks the No Lock but Christian reverses. They struggle some more before Bryan finally gets the No Lock and Christian taps.
Daniel Bryan defeated Christian at 12:26.
Teddy was shown backstage with Dolph Ziggler. He informed Dolph he would have the night off. Dolph resisted, Teddy didn’t want anyone interfering in his matches tonight and since Del Rio is in action later he doesn’t want Ziggler around. Vickie’s job evaluation recap is up next... [C]
Uso and Rollins were in the ring back from commercial.
2. Seth Rollins vs. Jey Uso: Rollins went behind but Uso fought out into a hammerlock. Rollins broke free and went for an Irish whip, Uso reversed into an elbow. Uso ran the ropes and hit a clothesline on a seated Rollins for a two count. Uso went up to the second rope but Rollins caught him and brought him down and hit a suplex for a two count. Running forearm into the corner also drew a two count as Rollins went for a rear chin lock. Uso fought his way up as Rollins walked him around to each corner ramming Uso's head into each turnbuckle. By the third turnbuckle Uso had enough and starts to get pumped up. He nailed a charging Rollins with a couple of right hands, got a superkick and backs Rollins into the corner with another right hand and hits a corner splash.
Jey then nails the Rikishi style charge in the corner and Reigns is up to distract. Jimmy takes him out with a clothesline as Rollins misses his own corner splash, Jey nails a massive Samoan Drop for a two count. Reigns gets his revenge on Jimmy on the outside and this distracts Jey long enough for Rollins to hit the running knee to the head for the pinfall.
Seth Rollins defeated Jey Uso at 3:48.
Post match The Shield stood on the announcer table to celebrate...
Vickie’s package was shown. Axel and Jericho’s rematch is up next... [C]
3. Curtis Axel vs. Chris Jericho: Axel attacked Jericho at the bell. Jericho got whipped into the corner and caught Axel with an elbow in the corner. Jericho hit more chops and followed with a reverse elbow off an Irish whip. Second rope dropkick and Jericho took control with a series of kicks and forearms. Axel started to fight back but missed a corner charge and rammed his shoulder into the post. Jericho went for a Codebreaker but Axel caught him and turned it into a hot shot onto the turnbuckle but that only gets a two count as we go to the break... [C]
Back from commercial Axel is in control. Second rope elbow drop gets a two count. Axel then racks his forearm across Jericho's eyes just to be annoying. He whipped Jericho into the ropes and went for the backdrop, Jericho countered with a kick, nailed a running forearm and hit the Northern Lights suplex for the two count. Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho but Axel threw him off, caught Jericho with a snap side-suplex that got a two count.
Axel backed Jericho into the corner, he ate a kick on the corner charge however, Jericho went up top, crossbody got two, Axel rolled away from a Lionsault. Axel got a neckbreaker for two. He went for a bodyslam but Jericho slid out and went for the Walls but Axel rolled him up for a two count. Jericho hit a Shining Wizard and that got two. Jericho body dropped Axel over the top rope but missed the baseball slide to the outside and Axel hit a clothesline. Jericho rolled back in and caught Axel with a Codebreaker as he tried to come back in. The ten count began and Axel failed to answer.
Chris Jericho defeated Curtis Axel at 10:51.
Axel was pissed that he lost in that fashion. Cole pointed out that Axel had lost twice to Y2J twice in a week. There will be a recap of the Wyatt segment, and the announcers promised important news regarding Kane.
Miz made his entrance he will face Ryback up next... [C]
Back from commercial they showed highlights of Miz and Ryback from two week’s ago.
4. Ryback vs. The Miz: Miz controlled early but Ryback gained control with his usual arsenal of power moves. Miz tried to keep coming back but Ryback kept control. Ryback went for a splash but Miz got the knees up. Drop kick to Ryback’s knee and a running knee lift to the head, allowed Miz to take charge. He nailed his clothesline into the corner and hit an axe handle from the top rope. He attempted the figure four leglock but Ryback fought it off.
Miz kept working the knee and backed Ryback into the corner. Miz charged, Ryback went to kick him in the face, Miz caught the leg and hyperextended it. The ref asked if Ryback can continue. Miz gets caught by a clothesline. Ryback went for Shellshock and even though his knee looked like it's going to give he hit it for the win.
Ryback defeated The Miz in 6:03.
Renee Young interviewed Sheamus. She asked for his thoughts on Randy Orton. He said he will beat The Viper tonight. Sheamus said he isn’t afraid of heights. He said he isn’t known as the type to bring a briefcase to work, but maybe he will take a couple pints and cabbage in it. He said Renee is pretty cute...
The first ever in ring diva contract signing is up next... [C]
The entire Smackdown Divas division along with Teddy Long was in the ring for the contract signing. A.J. Lee said no one cared about this division until she won the title. Teddy interrupted her diatribe and said to sign the paper. Kaitlyn went to sign and Lee said she shouldn’t do that because then Lee can embarrass her worse than ever before. Layla stepped in and told Kaitlyn there wasn’t need to say anything and Kaitlyn signed.
A.J. Lee said she warned Kaitlyn and pulled out a cellphone. She began reading tweets between Kaitlyn and her secret admirer. Lee read a less than complimentary tweet Kaitlyn allegedly wrote about Natalya, then the Funkadactyls. Kaitlyn stomped and Lee hilariously said "Hulk smash."
Kaitlyn said she has lost a lot but she won’t let a psychopath like Lee destroy her again. She said she will be champion again. Lee bitch slapper her, then Kaitlyn pushed the table into the corner barricading Lee. Kaitlyn landed punches until Big E. Langston intervened. She slapped Big E. then hit the spear on Lee. She retreated with Layla...
Fandango is up next... [C]
Wade Barrett gets no entrance treatment, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro flank Zeb Coulter who is on commentary. Fandango gets full entrance.
5. Fandango vs. Wade Barrett: Short match as Barrett controlled out of the gate. The Rhodes Scholars came out about 30 seconds in and jawed with Zeb and the gang, Barrett got distracted and Fandango hit the enziguri for the win.
Fandango defeated Wade Barrett at 2:32.
Cole announced that Kane is out of the ladder match Sunday. Wyatt recap from Monday... [C]
Alberto Del Rio made his entrance for his match. Dolph Ziggler came out dressed in Sin Cara’s get up. He began bashing Del Rio with punches and then hit the Zig Zag before leaving. The bell never rang, there was no match.
Vickie Guerrero had a microphone and was screaming for respect. Vickie bought a ticket to the event and demanded Teddy Long be fired. Teddy came out and called for security who escort her out...
Sheamus and Orton is up next... [C]
The real Sin Cara was walking backstage and Teddy thought it was Dolph. The real Dolph walked up and said he was leaving. Sin Cara shook his head...
Sheamus was out first for the main event.
6. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: They tied up to start, Sheamus backed Orton into a corner. Both men traded blows until Sheamus hit a suplex for a two count. Sheamus landed a nice powerslam for another two count, then the action spilled to the outside. Sheamus slammed Orton into the announce table. Orton reversed an Irish Whip and sent Sheamus toward the steps, but Sheamus stopped himself. Orton caught him with a hard clothesline as he turned around that looked really stiff sending us to final commercial... [C]
Back from break Orton had Sheamus in a chin lock, but Sheamus fought to his feet and got a dropkick for his efforts. Orton went right back to the rest hold, but Sheamus powered out again. Sheamus missed a high knee, Orton hit two clotheslines followed by a powerslam for a two count. Sheamus telegraphed a back body drop and ate a boot but hit the Irish Curse for two as both men sold their lower backs.
Sheamus went for White Noise but Randy slipped out and hit the backbreaker for a two count. Randy tried his hanging DDT but Sheamus backdropped him over the rope out onto the apron. Sheamus hit his club forearms to the chest. Sheamus hit a running senton then called for the Brogue kick. Randy avoided it. Sheamus up to the second rope, Orton stopped him and nailed his hanging DDT. Orton poses for RKO. Sheamus pushes off the RKO attempt and went up to the top rope, Orton crotched him on the turnbuckle. Orton went for the superplex but they both fall off the top rope to the floor and the ref begins to count them out.
Daniel Bryan came out, he pulled a ladder from under the ring, Orton and Sheamus come back in the ring, they both got nailed by Bryan causing a disqualification.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus ended in a no-contest when Daniel Bryan interfered at 13:05.
Bryan climbed the ladder to get the briefcase that was hanging above the ring but Sheamus stopped him and tried to get the case himself. Christian came out, stopped Sheamus and tried for the case but Sheamus fought back. Both men climb up, Christian knocked off Sheamus and almost got the case but Bryan got back in, he went up the ladder but Orton was back in the ring and hit Bryan with the RKO, he climbed and got his briefcase moment as the show ends.
