*Also advertised are Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Damien Sandow, WWE Divas champion AJ Lee, The Bella Twins and more.
- The Chicago Tribune featured a piece on the WWE Payback PPV being held on 6/1 in Chicago, IL at the Allstate Arena. Dave Scherer mentioned that the show would be there last night here on the site.
This is the second year in a row that it will be in this venue.
The 2014 edition of the PPV could end up also built around Punk if he doesn't sign a new WWE contract. As noted, his contract expires in July.
Should he and WWE not come to terms on a new deal, the Payback PPV could very well end up being the last time he wrestles in his hometown for WWE.
