On Being a Wrestler: Well, you know I wanted to be a wrestler. It’s always a hard decision to make. You have to ask yourself if you really want to do it or if you see it on TV and just say “yea I want to do that”. I didn’t even think about being on TV. I got started and was trained by Eddie Sharpie in a backyard. There’s nothing real glamorous about that. I trained 5 days a week with a bunch of guys. Most of who I was bigger than. (laughs) I loved it.
On Taking Risks in Life: I can’t live like that. I can’t even imagine living like that. I’ve always just gone out there and done stuff. There are some things I think “Yea, I kinda messed that up” but you go on. The important thing for me is to be happy. That’s my main goal. Obviously, moneydoesn’t make you happy. If anything, it’s moremoney more problems. I can live pretty simply. Actually, like back when I was living in Louisville crashing on couches was some of the best times of my life. Life was pretty simple. I made some good friends, worked my side jobs, and worked towards my goals. There have been times in my life I wondered “did I make the right decision?” but you can’t stress that stuff. It gives youwrinkles.
On Her Future: I don’t want to stop with wrestling. I’m very happy in TNA, but I’m thinking about what I want to do after. I do want to get involved more with entertainment. That will definitely require another move. I’ve been doing some voice over work. I also have the itch to do some acting. I’m also running a bar and want to own my own one-day. I have a lot in the basket right now. That’s what I think people can relate to. I want more in life. I need to challenge myself. I’m not just content. When it’s all done, I hope to look backand think “Shit, I’m glad I did it”. There are new journeys coming in my life. Can’t think about the unknowns and what ifs. Just need to pack up what I need and go!
