Ed Wells, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, International Operations at WWE, was asked whether the sports-entertainment organization needs a Chinese wrestler to aid theirpopularity in the country.
“We’d love to have a Chinese star and we’re certainly open to working with Chinese talent,” said Wells. “(However), John Cena, one of our top Superstars, may be more popular than the local talent anywhere he goes.”
– WWE developmental talent Ashley Flair is now referencing herself as Charlotte on Twitter—her new handle is @MsCharlotteWWE. She noted,“Received my ring name….. CHARLOTTE, baby, CHARLOTTE!!!”
