Update On Matt Morgan Blasting TNA + iMPACT! Ratings

– As noted earlier, Matt Morgan deleted a series of Twitter messages he posted on Twitter Monday revealing his displeasure with TNA Wrestling. He had written, “hey man, what can I say? SOMEONE in that lockeroom had to stand up to Tna front office and call them out for over-promising, & under delivering. So when my deal was up I said ‘why not me?!’ Accountability. Who says u can’t go home again? Lol.”

– Here are the quarter-hour ratings for the August 23rd episode of iMPACT! Wrestling. The episode did a 1.16 rating, the highest of the live summer series, off hours of 1.05 and 1.27.

Q1: 1.00 rating – Sting calling out Aces & Eights (Hogan was advertised for the segment but didn’t appear)
Q2: 1.06 rating – Miss Tessmacher vs. Tara w/Taryn Terrell as referee
Q3: 1.04 rating – A.J. Styles vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Robbie E. (BFG Series match)
Q4: 1.08 rating – Jeff Hardy in-ring promo, Hardy vs. Rob Terry
Q5: 1.32 rating – A.J. Styles’ paternity test
Q6: 1.18 rating – Gunner vs. Kris Lewie (Gut Check match)
Q7: 1.18 rating – Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray (BFG Series match)
Q8: 1.40 rating – Second half of Anderson vs. Bully, Sting calls out Aces & Eights again, show-closing brawl
