– It was announced at the end of RAW this week that CM Punk will have to choose a match for Hell in a Cell. His choices are John Cena and Ryback. If Punk refuses to decide, Vince McMahon will make the decision for him.
WWE is expected to know John Cena’s status for Hell in a Cell later this week after Cena goes in for a check-up. The plan all along was for Ryback to be used as a backup plan while still pushing him to a main event position in the process.
If John Cena is ready to go, they’ll announce Cena vs. Punk for HIAC next week on RAW. If not, they’ll use the Ryback vs. CM Punk backup plan.
