WWE Monday Night Raw Review
A very heavy wrestling show with a lot of tag team matches. Different which is always a good thing for business. A really fun show that went by in a flash. WWE needs more of these shows where there enjoyable to watch & not watching the clock for the end. A good go home show. I will have a preview later this week & live coverage of HIAC PPV this Sunday.

WWE Smackdown Results & review
Maybe it's just me, but I thought this promo was weak. Nothing against any of those who took part in it and the booking for the main event is something to look forward to, but it felt like it was written at the last minute. Bryan just randomly introduced Cody and Goldust for no reason and from then you just saw it coming. Meh. At least we get an awesome main event!

Dixie Carter & Sting Opening Segment:
I have been up & down on the Dixie heel turn but this was really bad for the first moments. Why in the world would you drop Stephanie McMahon's name on there. Your a heel Female who runs the company & pointing out that your copying WWE from the book. Back call there, She is a Hogan type by saying the same thing over & over (hunny)

WWE Main Event Review & results
Dean Ambrose defeats Dolph Ziggler with his face driver finisher to retain the US Title.
Great match(for how short it was) to kick off Main Event! Anytime Ziggler gets in the ring with someone who possesses more than an ounce of talent, it's worth watching. I wish Ziggler was doing more in the upper ranks.

WWE SUPERSTARS REVIEW
Damien Sandow defeats Kofi Kingston in just under eight minutes.
These are the types of matches I expect to see on WWE C shows that don't focus so much on ridiculous storylines and just do the wrestling thing. Sandow grabbing the ropes on the SOS and Kofi's high flying made this match very entertaining right until the end. GREAT short match!
We see Shawn Michaels' appearance on Raw. I saw it on Raw, and now I have to skip it here. Then we see even more Raw highlights that I skip.

WWE NXT REVIEW
Main Event: (C) Bo Dallas vs Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship
Zayn defeats Dallas to... wait, JBL is coming out. The match is restarted because Dallas had his foot on the rope. Dallas retains after smacking Zayn's head off a turnbuckle and rolling him up. Cheating arsehole. Match was surprisingly good on both ends, unusual cause Bo blows.

Diva Of The WeekWWE GOLDBERG ‘THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION’ DVD REVIEW “The Streak”: The Format As has been widely reported, Bill Goldberg was not actually associated with this DVD in any way. Because of this, the informational segments throughout this DVD are pretty few and far between. They reminded me a lot of the segments throughout Tombstone: The History of the Undertaker, but they are not featured before every match like on that DVD. This format feels very antiquated. When they are featured, the segments do help to give some context to the matches. Click Here to Read More AR'S COLD TRUTH: TNA BOUND FOR GLORY PPV REVIEW World Heavyweight Title Match: AJ Styles Def. Bully Ray © The match was good but as the story through the hole night not great. Newsworthy Yes, Good matches for the most part yes, Fresh stories being told yes. For all the people who shit on TNA yes there was a lot of negative things about this PPV but the after math has the potential to be good. They didn’t over book in the main event as they usually do. Styles get the win makes perfect sense & it was a good match but didn’t live up to the main event status as it was hyped. Has Sting ever had a great match with someone average? As memory serves, the answer is no. I'm starting to question if he's ever been able to carry anyone with subpar talent to something special. It's not that I think Magnus lacks talent, but Sting is 53(or 54) as of March and he just can't move at an exciting pace. Click Here to Read More |
